We're a few months into the digital era, and here in SLC, on a good day, I get about 35 channels (thats including subchannels).
I have a portable usb tv receiver for my laptop that I brought home with me to Green River a few months ago and here are my results.
Evanston has (as memory serves me) at least two digital channels, both PBS. One is a KUED translator and the other was Wyoming PBS. Also, there were still a few analog translators receivable.
Green River is now served by a very weak KGWR-13 DT which looks terrible despite being digital. KGWR always looked bad, so no change.
The other digital channel receivable in Green River was the a translator of Wyo PBS from a tower on White Mtn. It had a more reliable signal then KGWR (go figure).
So that's it. Had I had a better antenna, I'm sure (possibly) more could come in.

Hi Milo, I'm actually back in the UK at the moment so haven't yet checked to see what/if any reception would be like in Kemmerer. From what you say though, it doesn't sound too promising so I'll stick to satellite for the time being I think!

I would if I were you. I'm getting cable in a few days so we'll see what Utah's cable system looks like.
