KDWY 105.3 Kemmerer is now simulcasting 940 KMER AM. This happened within the past two days, and was the result of the computer failure in the studio. It is refreshing to be able to hear KMER at night on FM because their AM signal never reaches here in GR at night. Its also nice to hear oldies in living stereo. Its better than their 22Khz encoded music that normally airs on the station. I'd hope if they get a new computer, they'd encode the music in 44Khz or better like the rest of the stations do.
This probably won't last long, just one of only a handful of new things in regards to radio here in SW Wyo!
