I can hear KTWO radio from the San Francisco Bay Area any night. Its not always super clear but you can hear it good enough to get an ID. It doesn't fade in and out, it just sounds distant. I've also heard KTWO from every city I have lived in in the Western United States including Missoula, MT, the Seattle Area, and the Los Angeles and Palm Springs Areas.

That's a pretty good distance to receive it. I'm not sure I can even get it clearly here in SW Wyoming.
How about our local station KMER on 940am, any luck with that over there?

I've heard KMER from Salt Lake but that was on a good day and I was up by Park City when I got it. I can hear KEVA some times during the day here but at night there is no chance as 1240 becomes a graveyard frequency. 940 at night I used to get KNNZ from Cedar City. Now I don't know what I'll get on 940 at night from here.
I can hear KTWO loud and clear every night here. It has a better signal then I give it credit for.

I should have mentioned, I stayed in SLC 2 nights ago at the Homewood suites and attempted to get the Kemmerer locals on the hotel room radio as a curiosity (not the best means to pick them up I know!) and 940AM had nothing but static and 107.3FM had something else on there though I don't know if it was a fixed frequency or overlapping station.
When I tried to tune in KTWO at home, it was using my Sony 5.1 receiver which has terrible reception for AM despite having a loop antenna and it's currently the only AM radio I have at home. Next time I'll see if I can tune it in the car which coincidentally is also a Jimmy, 2000 model! It also has the original audio equipment but reception can be hit and miss at times. Driving home on I-80, most SLC stations faded out around Coalville except for a fuzzy 103.1 Jack FM (though it's always poor around the reservoir and I-84 junction for me) Further up the road near the Utah port of entry, it was perfectly clear as was KNYN from Evanston. Unfortunately I didn't try to tune anything else but next time I go, I'll stop at the rest area opposite the lake and see what's around.
